I’ve always been entrepreneurial for as long as I can remember. I wanted to start a business for myself that represents all the things I love doing. I am someone who has always loved getting together with family and friends. Growing up Cuban getting together with family and friends was something we did often. I always volunteered to set the table. I’m a sucker for a beautiful table. 

Over the last few years, I’ve experienced corporate burnout. After an evening in my home with close friends, food, and a lot of wine we started discussing how I can turn the things I truly love into a business. I love collecting antiques, so much that my husband has begged me to stop buying plates and “things!” I love having small intimate gatherings in my backyard with those I love and care about. Where I can style the table beautifully, eat good food and enjoy each other’s company. I love researching and learning and collecting antiques. 

So, the question became how can I turn what I really love into a business? After several months of piecing together that I love being a businesswoman, I have a huge appreciation for decorative arts and antiques, a natural curiosity to research and learn, and a sincere love for a beautifully styled intimate gathering with friends and family, my business was born. I believe that if I use my strengths in all of these areas I can create a life and business that I love and makes me happy.
